My name is Bob Selman and I live in southwest Missouri. I've been modeling since 1953. My modeling interests are mainly indoor models and park flyers. I am an electronics engineer. In the early days of micro RC, I worked with Rick Ruijsink and Paul Garrett designing custom microprocessor software for their receivers. BSD started in 1996 with our first product, a 2 gram ESC, followed by chargers for small NiCd cells. Today BSD is the Micro RC Specialist with a full line of micro equipment, kits, and planes in the under two-ounce category. We sell state-of-the-art equipment from firms like JMP Solutions, Falcon Models, Didel, Kokam batteries, EFlight Designs and others. We also manufacture our own BSD products like our BSD magnetic actuators, prop adapters, gearboxes, foam wings, and chargers. We are first and foremost micro RC enthusiasts. Our twin goals are to provide the most complete line of micro RC products in the business combined with the best customer service. The person you will most likely talk to on the phone or via email will be my wife Janell jselman@joplin.com , who handles most of the process of getting your order to you as quickly as possible. Another behind the scenes person is Gary Jones. Gary does most of the design work on our foam wings, gearboxes, actuators, kits and anything mechanical. He has also designed some of Kenway's gearboxes. Two other modelers you will likely see at the BSD booth are Ken Spencer and Jerry Combs. These two friends have worked hard to help BSD to get to where it is now.
